Custom & Duties

Customs Duty is a tariff or tax imposed on goods when transported across international borders. The purpose of Customs Duty is to protect each country’s economy, residents, jobs, environment, etc., by controlling the flow of goods, into and out of the country. Although global customers order and purchase the goods online, the goods are still subject to an import procedure to clear the shipment through customs. Clearance depends on:

  1. The country of origin
  2. The value including transport charges
  3. The quantity of goods

Each country has its own customs laws and the duties for different types of goods and values are set locally. Any international transportation/courier company carrying the Faatir Fabrics order packages must adhere to local customs legislation and the receiver of the packages has to pay the customs duties to clear shipments on arrival. Please be advised that :

  • You will not be paying DHL any further shipping costs. Rather, you will be asked to pay customs duties, taxes, and other import charges related to customs clearance in your home country, as per local regulations.
  • Whether a shipment is a gift or not, it must still go through an import procedure as determined by customs law in the destination country. The shipment is cleared through customs based on the origin country, the value, and the quantity, but not its purpose. You will need to pay customs duty and taxes only if the value of the gift is above a stated local threshold.
  • The customs authorities in the destination country determine whether any duties and taxes are applicable when the parcel arrives. This is based on the information provided on the shipping label (or waybill) and customs paperwork – in particular, the shipment contents, declared value, and weight. Duties and taxes only apply to parcels delivered to certain countries and not all goods are subject to these charges.
  • The payment of duties and taxes is typically the responsibility of the receiver ie the person who purchased the goods, not the shipper. Faatir Fabrics is not responsible for paying for any customs duties charged to their customer at the time of the receipt of the package.
  • At Faatir Fabrics we try our best to ensure delivery of the package to your doorstep but, as a legal entity we abide by international laws and hence can not guarantee delivery exactly to your doorstep in case the parcel is stuck in the customs clearance procedure. Under such case you will be connected by customs authority, delivery company, both of the previous entities as well as by Faatir Fabrics in case no response is provided to the previous two. Please note in case the parcel is stuck in customs then you are responsible for paying the customs duty and clearing your parcel from the customs department as per the law of your country. Please note under such cases order is considered to be delivered from our end as it is the maximum station a parcel can reach to under customs law. Under such conditions return/cancellation/refund of parcel is not possible.
  • Customers may be charged customs and duties by their country upon delivery of their order which they will have to pay in order to receive the package. We do not know a certain amount as it is charged by the delivery destination and not by us so it is not under our control. If the package has already been shipped and customer refuses to pay the charges, Faatir Fabrics has every right to get the package back and deduct the following charges from the refund;
      • 1. Initial shipping paid with the order.
      • 2. Return shipping charges.
    • 3. Any tax/duties charged to Faatir Fabrics upon return. Please know that if the customer fails to respond on time and the package is marked abandoned & destroyed at the destination then no refund claims can be made by the customer.

HOW TO FILE FOR A REFUND?

To apply for a Refund against an order please email us your order # with product name, original proof of purchase receipt (proof of payment) and your complaint/reason/issue for requesting a refund at sales@faatirfabrics.com and our customer care agent will get in contact with you. Alternatively you can call us on +92 32 33 33 7861 from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Pakistan Standard Time).

REFUND PROCEDURE - ALL INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

In case you want to claim a refund from Faatir Fabrics , kindly follow the below steps :

  1. Contact our customer care via WhatsApp/ Email ID or reach out to us at sales@faatirfabrics.com
  2. Provide our customer care staff with your order number and original order confirmation receipt sent to you via email, proof of payment Order Confirmations & Receipts are automatically generated by our system and sent out to the email ID provided by the customer once the customer checks out and completes the order purchase process on our website.
  3. Submit a request and a detailed reason/complaint/issue for requesting a Refund claim.
  4. Once the refund request is received, our customer support team will carefully review it and respond within 48 hours.
  5. If the refund is approved, you will receive a refund within 10-12 working days from the date of the approval of the refund.
  6. In case of rejection, our customer support team will reach out to you with a detailed explanation.
 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR A REFUND

Our refund policy applies to international users who have made purchases through Faatir Fabrics.

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met: :

  1. The user must have a valid proof of purchase or order number.
  2. The request for a refund must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  3. The product or service must meet the criteria outlined in our refund policy.
  4. All refund items must be in their original condition without evidence of use.

REFUND CRITERIA:

Faatir provides refunds in the following situations

  1. Incorrect Size: If the size delivered is different than ordered or measurements are not according to the size chart displayed on the website.
  2. Item does not match description or Picture: If the product delivered is different in design, color, work technique, fabric, etc
  3. Incorrect Order: Different product or variant gets delivered
  4. Quality Issues: Quality defects in the product lead to wearability concerns.
  5. Items/Accessories Missing: The product was delivered with pieces missing. Only applicable if the product is not wearable.
  6. Product Damaged: Broken, eroded, faded, stained product delivered.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE REFUND POLICY:

We reserve the right to modify or update this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website.
